Blue and Gold

Last week, the boys got to make cakes for the Cubscout Blue and Gold Banquet. They designed their cakes, baked them, and decorated them.

The night of the banquet was pretty torturous for me. Since Joe is the Cubmaster, he was in charge of the evening's events and wasn't able to help me. Austin managed to choke on his chicken twice, and when it was time for cake, he climbed up onto the table that was displaying all the different cakes and dug his hands and face right into someone's chocolate masterpiece. Here is the proof.


The night had some good moments too. Joseph and Grant received their Bear badges and some other awards and it was fun to see how proud they were of their advancements. Congrats guys!
