Ducks are birds too...

On our first "real" day in Texas, Uncle Dave took us to a duck pond and instead of stale bread, brought a huge 5 gallon bucket of bird seed, all of which the kids fed to the ducks.

After the duck pond he took us to McDonald's for lunch and bought all of the kids a happy meal. That enshrined him forever as one of their favorite relatives of all time.

At a park by the duck pond. Joseph is always so sweet with Ada.

Love this pic of Ada with fists full of bird seed.

The big orange bucket almost empty. Austin got close enough to pet that duck.

Love this pic of my grandma. She's not too old to get on her hands and knees to get a duck to eat out of her hand.

Ada in Happy Meal heaven.

Fun! Where in Texas did you visit? Wow, 6 happy meals!? That's expensive. Hahaha.

I can't believe Ada is so big. She should still be a baby!
Looks like it was so much fun!

Sabrina, we were in San Antonio. My kids were so spoiled by those happy meals. If the tab was on me they would have each got a burger off the dollar menu and a cup of water. =)
